The Process

How a session works

1

Arrive & warm up

30 kids, split into 3 groups of 10 by age and skill level. 5 minutes of warm-up to get heart rates up and bodies ready.

2

Three zones, three sports

Each group goes to a zone. Zone A plays soccer. Zone B plays basketball. Zone C does kids athletics. 20 minutes per sport.

3

The rotation

A whistle blows. Groups switch zones. Soccer kids now play basketball. Basketball kids head to athletics. Every kid tries every sport.

4

Cool down & high-fives

Quick stretch, water break, parent pickup. Total time: 60 minutes. Total fun: maximum.

The Science

Why we don't believe in early specialization

Most kids' programs push one sport. We disagree — and so does the science.

Sport Canada's Long-Term Athlete Development model recommends kids under 12 sample multiple sports to build broad motor skills and avoid burnout. Research on early specialization has linked single-sport focus in young athletes to higher injury rates and significantly higher dropout from sports by age 13.

What multi-sport actually does for your kid

Builds motor versatility

Throwing, kicking, sprinting, balancing — different sports build different movement patterns that carry over into all of life.

Prevents burnout

Kids who try multiple sports stick with athletics longer into their teens — because they never get bored.

Lowers injury risk

Repetitive single-sport training causes overuse injuries even in 8-year-olds. Variety keeps bodies healthy.

Surfaces hidden talent

Your kid might think they're a soccer player — until they pick up a basketball. Let them find out.

What We Offer

Sports your kid will explore

Soccer

Footwork, teamwork, the world's game. Foam balls for the littles, proper soft soccer balls for older kids. No tackling, ever.

Basketball

Coordination, court awareness, mini jump shots. Lower hoops sized for kids, mini-games. Goal: confidence, not the NBA.

Athletics

Athletics

Running, jumping, throwing, balance work. The fundamental movements every sport is built on.

Kids Gym

Kids Gym

Bodyweight strength, balance, controlled movement. Gymnastics-inspired for young bodies.

Zumba

Zumba

Rhythm, cardio, pure joy. Movement that doesn't feel like exercise because it isn't — it's a party.

Kids Yoga

Kids Yoga

Flexibility, focus, learning to breathe through frustration. The mental edge that carries into every sport.

We rotate 3 sports per session and change the mix each week — your kid never gets bored.

Our Philosophy

What we believe

01

Kids should try everything before they specialize in anything.

02

Confidence comes from competence — and competence comes from variety.

03

The best childhood sport is the one your kid wants to come back to next week.

04

Parents belong in the gym, not just on the sidelines.

Common Questions

We've got answers

About the Sessions
What sports do you offer? +
We rotate through soccer, basketball, kids athletics, kids gym, Zumba for kids, and kids yoga. Every session features 3 sports, and the mix changes weekly.
How long is a session? +
Sessions are 60 minutes for ages 5–10, and 45 minutes for ages 2–4. Each session includes a warm-up, three 20-minute sport rotations, and a cool-down.
How many kids are in a session? +
Up to 30 kids per session, split into 3 groups of 10. Each group is matched by age and skill level, and each group has a dedicated coach in their zone.
Will the sports change every week? +
Yes. We always rotate three sports per session, but the combination changes weekly. One week might be soccer + basketball + athletics. The next might be soccer + basketball + Zumba.
For Your Kid
What if my kid has never played a sport before? +
Perfect. Active Hour is built for first-timers. Our rotation is designed for kids who've never touched a soccer ball, never run a track, never tried yoga. Day one is for everyone.
What if my kid is shy? +
We've had quiet kids become the loudest cheerers in 3 weeks. The rotation format works in your shy kid's favour — they're never stuck doing one thing if it's not clicking.
What if my kid doesn't like a sport during the rotation? +
They still rotate — but our coaches adapt the activity to keep them engaged. Trying something is non-negotiable; loving it isn't required.
My kid has a learning difference. Can they still join? +
Yes, in most cases. Reach out via WhatsApp or email before booking. Our small-group format and structured rotation often work very well for kids who thrive on predictable transitions.
